Hey Gang, Zeile here…
I’ve created this day of music to celebrate the craft of songwriting and to highlight the Feminine experience. To explore the rendering of song, composition, and story into this vibration that we singer-songwriters use our whole body, heart, and mind to deliver.
We deliver it and make it whole, because the muse asks us too… we transmute it so that we can connect you, the listener, to something much larger than us as separate individuals; our collective human experience.
We often sing about love, sometimes our dogs, sometimes inanimate objects, and we sing our stories or play them through other instruments so we can hear them, feel them, exercise them. Most importantly, so we can give value to our stories and maybe, just maybe, help one another to feel heard and a little more groovy.
The name: “Many Mothers” was born out of an off-handed comment I made to one of my sister clan. whom, like myself, is also a single mother.
I said: ” You are not a single mother, WE are many mothers”.
I then realized that I actually meant something by this comment, that we are ALL many.
Come groove out with us and join this intimate throw down celebration!
