Thank you for your interest in the Master of Arts in Psychological Science program! We are very excited to be accepting our first class of students, who will begin fall semester 2014.
We are one program with three integrated tracks:
Clinical-Counseling Psychology prepares students for employment as mental health practitioners in applied settings. The curriculum was designed to provide the required coursework and skills training for graduates to be eligible for licensure as Professional Clinical-Counselors through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Our program emphasizes current, empirically-based diagnostic and intervention methods that will allow graduates to be successful service providers with diverse populations in a variety of settings.
Industrial-Organizational Psychology prepares students for employment in a variety of organizational and business settings as personnel and human resources professionals.
General-Experimental Psychology prepares students to be instructors at the community college level, adjunct faculty at four-year institutions, research specialists in organizations, and provides additional preparation for students interested in doctoral-level programs.
