Located in Roscommon Michigan, the Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve resulted from Marguerite's land and monetary endowment in 1997. Ms. Gahagan lived and wrote from her cabin and founded one of Michigan's premier conservation newspapers, The North Woods Call. Today, the preserve educates school-aged children from 4 counties about nature and the natural world. Visitors are welcome to hike the trails, visit Tank Creek via the boardwalks and deck overlooks or participate in our community environmental programs. Our main trail is asphalt for accessibility. See our website for details.
