Bridging the divide between junior high and high school, MIT enhances the academic rigor and critical thinking. The Maricopa Institute of Technology (MIT) pushes students to new levels of critical thinking and scientific evaluation. The aim of this unique high school program is to expand student opportunities and develop their competitive advantage as future post-secondary students and professionals. Here, Project Based Learning (PBL), becomes the focus as corporate partners are increasingly involved in resolving issues related to global sustainability and humanitarian causes. Independent learning is further reinforced to continually develop our students’ inquisitive minds and teach them how to ask questions, research data and achieve findings that can be submitted for academic and peer review. This is not your ordinary high school.
