About my yoga journey & blog purpose:

I was first introduced to yoga in the 70's and practiced sporadically.

From 2000 to 2010 I regularly attended yoga (asana based) class.

In 2010 I received certificates in Hatha Yoga and Kid's Yoga - and taught yoga classes from 2011 to 2013.

I left the class room in 2013 and struggled with my own home practice of yoga asana and meditation.

Mid Spring of 2016 I slowly started to find my own “yoga voice” and have become a student of Himalayan Tradition of yoga (yoga as meditation, yoga of union that excludes none, yoga as non-dualism). I have studied through Swami Jnaneshvara ( swamij.com ) participating in his Udemy Courses and through his online offerings of sadhana and satsang. It is important to note that the words "Himalayan Tradition" point to the linage of the philosophy and are not a specific "yoga" style.

My blog is an extension of my desire to share not only my love of yoga, but my healing process from chronic anxiety present since childhood.
