MarineDepotLive.com is an aquarium livestock boutique brought to you by the fish nerds at aquarium supply store MarineDepot.com.

We originally opened up shop in Orange County, CA—a hotspot for the hobby—in the summer of 2001 as a one-stop shop for saltwater aquarium animals. In 2009, our growing aquarium and pet supply businesses necessitated a move to a larger location nearby that was not equipped for aquaculture at that time. When it comes to caring for delicate sea creatures, you have to do it right or not at all, so we made the difficult decision to shut down our livestock division and put all our energy into growing MarineDepot.com and PetStore.com.

Of course, we were quietly collecting, growing and sharing rare and colorful corals with our friends for the fun of it the whole time. With operations at our new facility now running like a well-oiled machine, we decided it was time to once again share our prized collection with you.
