The Kiwanis of Marion focus on activities that help children, thereby helping their communities, the nation and the world at large. Every day Kiwanis members help make the world a better place to live through their efforts. In Marion, Kiwanis supports the Kids Day Program, Friends of the Carnegie Library, CASA, the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center, Angel Tree, Area food pantries, the Williamson County Child ID Program, Prenancy Matters, Youth athletic programs, MHS Grad Spree, K-Kids in all of the are elementary schools, MJHS Scholarship and Citizenship Awards, an annual $4000 scholarship to a senior at Marion High School and many other local efforts. Marion Kiwanis is also an active participant in the Illinois-Eastern Iowa Spastic Paralysis Research Project, Kiwanis International's numerous programs and the KI Foundation.
