Mariposa County Solid Waste & Recycling

The Solid Waste & Recycling Division operates the Landfill, Compost Facility & Recycling Center at 5593 Hwy49N in Mariposa and four transfer stations. The Landfill is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thur. through Mon., closed Tue., Wed. and major holidays. Transfer station hours are as follows:
* Lake Don Pedro, 9729 Merced Falls Rd., Th, Sat, Sun, 9-5,
closed 12-12:30
*Fish Camp, Hwy 41, Sun, 8-10 a.m.
*Coulterville, Mary Harris Mine Rd. off Hwy. 49 N, Sat. 9-5,
closed 12-12:30
*Hornitos.Cemetery Rd. off Catherine St., 1st & 3rd Sat, 9-5
closed 12-12:30
