In 2016-17, the society presented over 200 films, to over 50,500 patrons at the three venues it operates: MV Film Center, Capawock and Strand theaters.
In 2006, the Film Society established the Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival, a 6 days/nights festival of world film and events. More than 2500 people attended this year's festival, bringing together film lovers, artists, writers, and those who make movies. This has become a much anticipated Island event each September (click here for more details).
It also produces several other annual film festivals (Environmental Film Fest in May, FILMUSIC in June, DOC WEEK in August)
