Martinez Street Women's Center

The Martinez Street Women’s Center is in its 16th year serving San Antonio’s East and South East community. Our Community Health Promotora Program strengthens families by increasing access to preventative health services, facilitating referrals to basic needs resources and enhancing the knowledge and awareness of health issues in our community. Through our Girl Zone Program (after school sessions and Summer Camp) we enhance academic potential, nurture high self-esteem, and support the healthy development of girls age 9 – 14. Our programs reach over 3,500 women, girls and families each year. We provide critical services, including a FREE Breast Cancer Clinic and FREE after school and summer camp for low-income families in San Antonio’s East and South East community.
