Martin's Home and Garden

It was February of 1982 when John and Helen Martin and their family moved to Woodbury, Tennessee. John and Helen had a vision for a family owned and operated business, and with the Martin's love for gardening, the home and garden center seemed like a perfect idea. The Martins started with one greenhouse to grow vegetable plants to sell at the local farmer's market. That same year, John started building storage sheds. Over the next few years, a few more greenhouses were added for growing bedding plants and selling them at the local flea market in Murfreesboro. In 1985, the Martin's rented a theater parking lot to sell bedding plants and produce. As the business grew, space became tight and the Martins purchased a piece of property on Bradyville Pike in Murfreesboro. There, Martin's became a full service nursery and garden center. In 2003, Martin's opened a new retail garden center and nursery on Broad Street, and expanded the business to nearly five acres.

Today, Martin's continues to thrive on quality and customer service. We now have a gift shop with home decor, jewelry and scarves, candles and soaps, baked and canned goods, and fresh produce. Now established in Murfreesboro for 35 years, Martin's is your premiere place for gardening, outdoor living, and landscaping needs.
