Maru Santa Monica

With his philosophy of maintaining tradition, integrity, and purity, executive chef Jason Park uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Fresh fish is flown overnight from Japan, and Jason personally handpicks fresh produce from the Santa Monica Farmers' Market.

Underscoring the interplay of food and wine, Maru offers highly allocated wines and sakes that pair beautifully with its cuisine. Maru's wine list is extensive and diverse, featuring selections from both well known and newly discovered wineries in California and around the world.

Our goal is to serve Michelin 1 star rated food in a casual atmosphere.
