Marvin is a village in Union County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 5,579 at the 2010 census. The racial makeup of the village was 86.2% White, 5.7% African American, 5.4% Asian, and 1.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the population.There were 1553 households out of which 67.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 89.4% were married couples living together, 2.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 5.8% were non-families. 4.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
