Mary's Family Missions

My name is Mary Herrera. I am 38 years old. I am a single parent of 3 children.
I am a missionary and work with a non-profit organization called Youth With A Mission. The Lord called me here in April 2014. In September of 2013, I received a word form the Lord that it was time to GO into ministry. I was unsure as to what that looked like. I was working at a Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician at the time I was called into missions.

When the Lord told me to GO, oh yeah, P.S. take your children with you, a month later a missionary came to my church and he was with Youth With A Mission and he spoke about going into places and preaching the gospel. In my spirit i began to have a passion to do this. I then went an spoke to this gentlemen and shared with him what God had spoken to me. He said, "I have a book for you". When he gave me the book, I saw in the top right hand corner the words "GO MANUAL". I then began praying and asking the Lord to reveal to me if this was where I needed to GO. In December of 2013, I received a phone call from a friend and was introduced into Crossroads Discipleship Training School. She reminded me of the word that God had given me back in September. When I researched this CDTS, it was about doing missions as a family. That was my passion to do missions as a family. This organization was called Youth With A Mission. It was so amazing how God did this. This is the story behind how we ended up being trained as a family to go into the mission field and preach the gospel to the nations where God doesn't exist.
