I am a licensed massage therapist that specializes in clinical and deep massage techniques. I pride my work in finding issues in the tissues and helping to relieve tension, overworked, stressed or knotted up muscles. In order to live in our bodies we must take care of them and listen when our body is "screaming" at us. Pain is a way that your body communicates with you, telling you when its out of whack while its battles to be back at homeostasis. This world is so busy and we are always on the go, most of us never set aside time for ourselves and the constant wear and tear on our bodies as we try to maintain a fast pace on life roller coaster has our muscles stretched thin and plum wore out. Although we may have thought in the past or maybe still think, that massage is just a luxury and fitting in time or the money to "spoil" yourself isn't at the top of the list. getting a regular massage has many health benefits and can keep you in good condition so you can tackle your days with less, dwindling, or manageable pain. I chose massage as a way to put myself through college. I have always loved helping people and growing up living and working on a ranch I have personally felt and experienced the aches and pains in my muscles. So I will be able to help others while taking steps closer to what I have been called to do. I will start with my online basics, then attend a college to earn a degree in applied behavioral analysis and special education and hopefully by then they will have a unique course on autism.
My goal since 2014 has been to open a therapeutic center for special needs and learning disabilities, focusing on socialism and connecting the gap from parents and their unique children or loved ones and helping them understand the world. My center will also work with an animal shelter and have dog trainers on hand to train each adoptable dog to each childs specific need. My center will help children and adults learn basic life skills that we may take for granted that may help them grow and get jobs and live on their own.
so although this isn't what I plan on doing for the rest of my life I still find joy in serving others and helping someone feel better. So do something for yourself take care of your body no one else will and if you don't take care of your body where else are you going to live?
