Massage Central is a new therapeutic massage business with years of experience inside. Located in the central area of Cape Girardeau near Arena Park, Massage Central houses Licensed Massage Therapists with a variety of specialties and areas of expertise.

Lisa Huffman-Davis, LMT and Owner of Massage Central
Lisa is a 2011 graduate of Metro Business College and Valedictorian of her class. Starting her career in a local chiropractic office and then moving on to be an associate with medical grade skincare offices, Lisa knew her intense background in management and sports massage would be a great combination to open Massage Central. Continuity of care is important to Lisa and the staff of Massage Central. Lisa treats a variety of symptoms and takes pride in educating the client for continued relief between massage sessions.

Penny L. Wheeler, LMT, CCT
Penny is located inside Massage Central and also has a studio in Frohna MO for convenience to her northern clients. She has a compassionate heart and a warm personality and LOVES her work. She is a graduate of Metro Business College and tied for highest score in her class on her State Board Exam. Her passion for therapeutic relief of muscle tension and pain has led her to obtain certification in cupping therapy which focuses on decompression rather than compression to help alleviate muscle spasms which are sometimes deep within the body and can be very painful. Her training in cupping therapy can also address adherent scar tissue, cellulite, abdominal issues and lung percussion.

Laura A. Wake, LMT,
In May 2013 Laura received her License in Massage Therapy at Metro Business College and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She was the primary therapist for a local fitness center for 2 years before becoming self employed. In July of 2016 she received Certification in Manual Lymph Drainage, a therapy that improves circulation of the lymphatic system. Massage benefits the entire person as a whole physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As an LMT, her goal is to help her clients receive these benefits and unlock their bodies own healing power, and educate them on handling stresses life can bring and to promote better health and wellness for the entire being.

DeWayne Bowling, LMT
As a 2016 graduate of Metro Business College, DeWayne has recently joined Massage Central as our only male Licensed Massage Therapist. His mission as a massage therapist is to help your body function to the best of its ability. DeWayne will relieve pain and discomfort, restore mobility and vitality, and provide a healthy environment for you to relax and recover from your everyday stress and strife. His dedication and attention to detail become apparent through his focus in myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy.

Brenda Meehan LMT
Specializing in light work, Brenda is a graduate of Metro Business College, and has been a Therapist since 2011. She has a passion for massage therapy and uses it as a tool for health and healing. She is motivated by massage therapy because she believes it is what keeps us doing what we do (work, exercise, and life in general).
