MASSARAO SPANISH:

Massarao’s Spanish program follows the program of Cervantes Institute. Offered in six levels, referenced to the common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

For our kids, we adapted this level A1 for them, in order to teach them easily, friendly and having fun but at the same time following our program, to make it worthy for their future.

Why we follow the Institute Cervantes’s programs? We want you to get easy the DELE certificate when you are ready. The Diplomas of Spanish as a foreign language (DELE) are official qualifications, issued by the Institute Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain, certifying the degree of mastery of the Spanish that the candidate has. The DELE are performed in more than 100 countries around the world by more than 55000 candidates per year.

MASSARAO FLAMENCO:

Flamenco originates from Andalusia in southern Spain and is a dramatic and passionate form of folk singing, music and dance. Flamenco is often associated with the Gipsy of Spain (Gitanos) although it is actually thought to have evolved from a wide variety of cultures including Punjabi singing of India, Jewish Synagogue Chants and Western African colonies.

It is a combination of rhythmic handclaps known as palmas, singing (called cante), toque (guitar playing), and the familiar baile (dance). A male flamenco dancer is known as a “bailaor” and a female is called a “bailaora”.

Learning Flamenco dancing has many benefits for a child. Central to Flamenco are rhythm, posture, strength and body confidence all of which are valuable lessons to learn. It is also a great way for children to keep fit and strengthen core muscles. We also include in the class how to play the castanets. Castanets are a percussion instrument often used in Flamenco dancing to produce a series of clicks and rattles to accompany the dance, music and song. And also our Flamenco classes are given in Spanish language
