Matt's Blackboard is owned & operated by Matt Gurney. Matt has been a chef for many years at some of the best restaurants in the area including The Mattapoisett Inn, Turks Seafood, The Nest Diner,and the Rochester Bakery.

Our goal here at "The Board" is to offer quality and variety that is unmatched by any other eatery. The idea behind "The Board" is to break away from traditional restaurant "Specials". Our specials are truly "SPECIAL", not excess product that has to be sold. We buy fresh products and create, rather than creating around an aging ingredient. We hope to keep our guests guessing at what they will find at their next trip to "The Board".
