I have owned Matt’s Maintenance for 20 years. My crew has been trained personally by me and they have been with me for many years. We are experts in technical removals at any location. Our equipment is well maintained, so there are no delays with equipment breaking down or oil leaks left behind. Matt’s Maintenance will treat your property like it is your own mother's house, cleaning up after the job and leaving your property better than when we arrived. We are one of the only tree services with our own crane. The crane offers faster and safer removals with less of a chance of property damage.
I started Matt’s Maintenance just out of high school (Arapahoe High, Centennial). I was born and raised here in Colorado. As a child I was always climbing trees, and I have been fortunate to be able to build a business around what I am passionate about. My first chainsaw was given to me by my father in 1996. I immediately borrowed a trailer and hitched it to my Isuzu Trooper and helped my neighbors after large snow storms. Over the next couple of years, I purchased my own trailer, truck and chipper. I moved to Douglas County in 2002. I love living and working in Douglas County. I kept building my business and fleet, I now have a great crew and my own mechanic. I pride myself on my reputation, 75% of my business has been built off of word of mouth.
You will find I am extremely knowledgeable when you should be pruning your trees to keep them healthy and growing strong. Some trees can only be pruned at certain times –for instance, apple trees should be pruned in the winter. April and May are great time for most trees.
