Maui Fair

The most anticipated event on Maui comes alive each year for four fun-filled days.

This year, the traditional parade, which is also Maui’s largest, opens the Fair on Thursday, October 5, with rides, food, first-rate entertainment which will continue through the evening of Sunday, October 8, 2017.

With an annual attendance of approximately 100,000, the Maui Fair is an icon of family tradition. It attracts both locals and visitors alike to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features multi-cultural food, first-rate entertainment, E.K. Fernandez Fun Zone, plus horticulture, orchid, livestock, homemaking, photo, and art exhibits and competitions. With its beginnings in 1916 the Fair has become “A Timeless Tradition” embraced by businesses as well as individuals who as a community help perpetuate this valuable community event. It is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations and relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorships, local donations, and volunteers for support.
