ABOUT THE OWNERS

MAXFIT 24/7 co-owners Cole Pereira and Joe Hendrex had a vision to bring a healthier life style to the community of Waterford, California and surrounding areas, after it was brought to their attention multiple times the non-existent of a Health and Fitness facility in the area. They put their vision in motion and MAXFIT 24/7 was born. Cole and Joe grew up in the Gratton and Hughson area. Cole and Joe attended middle and high school together and have been friends ever since. We believe that a healthy life style, determination and setting goals through physical fitness will create success in day to day lives!
Cole is a Fire Captain for CAL FIRE. In 2010-12, Cole served as the Physical Fitness Coordinator for the Merced County Fire Department and continued in this role for Cal Fire Academy from 2012-14. As a Physical Fitness Coordinator he implemented nutrition and workout plans for Firefighters in the Department. He recently was responsible for implementing a program to purchase new fitness equipment for 23 fire stations. Cole traveled to the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Abba, as an International Consultant to train firemen in basic firefighting skills, physical fitness and nutritional programs so they could implement a health and fitness program at each one of their stations and bring fitness into their daily lives. Joe is a Foremen and Project Manager for a union industrial electric company in Modesto. For 10 years he has successfully bid and directly managed multi-million dollar jobs. His experience ranges from financial management to employee oversight. He is capable of handling anything that is put in front of him.
