Mayslick Lighthouse Church

Mayslick Lighthouse is a small, Nondenominational church with high hopes of becoming a large part of the spiritual growth in our community. Well over 25 years ago, our pastor set out with a dream, a hand full of people, and a call of god to build a church… and that’s just what we did. Though some laughed and said it could never be done, he pushed on to fulfill Gods calling. In 1991, our pastor and his wife opened their home to hold services. After 4 years of great services and the moving of God, an amazing thing happened… a lot on us 68 went on the market. Scared to make the jump, the pastor and the few members we had prayed for God to move. In a short amount of time, God opened all the right doors so that we were able to build the church that God had called us to build. As you could imagine, the Devil tried his very best to make us think that we had made the wrong move. We were told that a nondenominational church would never last, would never take root and grow. Yet, in 1994 we broke ground and begin to build the church that still stands today. After 18 years, God is still moving in many ways and saving souls today. Since then we have added our full size gymnasium and fellowship hall.

At the Lighthouse our youth are not hidden away. They are a vital part of the Church, they play a major role in ushering in the presence of God. With a wide assortment of activities geared for them, as well as programs and events that unite the youth and the adults, we learn from each other daily. Before, we could hardly get the youth to even come to church. Now, we now are Blessed with a very talented Youth Praise and Worship Team who are not afraid to go out and Minister anywhere the opportunity presents itself.

Our Music Ministry is a little of Traditional Hymns, Modern, Bluegrass Gospel, and Contemporary Praise & Worship and just about everything in between. We want you to relax and be comfortable as we Welcome the Presence of the Holy Spirit into each and every Service. We have great plans for the current Generation as well as the future generations to come.
