The McCreary Heritage & Community Center is a non-profit organization, as part of the McCreary County Heritage Foundation, and located in the town of Historic Stearns. Originally built as part of the Stearns Company’s retail operations, the center is currently used for a variety of purposes by hundreds of people every year, and we’re confident that we can make your perfect event happen right here in beautiful Historic Stearns.

Located within walking distance to Big South Fork Scenic Railway, the McCreary County Museum, a variety of shops, as well as Whistle Stop at Big South Fork, a restaurant popping with regional and American flavors, the center offers a full-experience for you and your guests.

The center’s design makes it the perfect banquet hall for weddings, wedding rehearsal dinners, receptions, reunions, baby showers, luncheons, parties, civic and community proceedings, etc. and its beautiful woodwork design harkens back to an earlier time.
