Oklahoma Search And Rescue was developed by a group of volunteers concerned with the multiple disappearances of children in Oklahoma. OKSAR has responded to requests for assistance on several missing children calls. OKSAR was called out and assisted MCFC with the Moore tornado. OKSAR also assisted MCFC with rehab at the Rush Springs Watermelon Festival. In August 2013 Oklahoma Search And Rescue became a division of Multi-County Fire Corps, Inc. This was done so that OKSAR now has access to several mobile units to use during call outs. With this combination of forces OKSAR is now able to respond from several different locations within the State.
