Ray McGarty MS, MLADC, LCS is the owner and primary clinician. He halds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He has had many hours of post graduate training in many types of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ericksonian Hypnosis, Gestalt and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. He has held clinical management positions with a number of addiction treatment orgainizations, including Clinical Administrator of the Betty Ford Center. His work with addictive disorders and trauma brought him to look for effective, non-pharmacological ways to treat various behavioral health problems. This interest resulted in the development of neurofeedback services. Neurofeedback is a central way to change brain functioning, with the goal of optimal functioning, which results in improvements in many issues.
