McGowan Associates

McGowan & Associates consists of Mary Ann McGowan, James McGowan and Brian McGowan.

Mary Ann McGowan is a New England native and has been a real estate professional for over twenty five years. She graduated cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science Degree and is currently the Sales Director at the real estate firm of Thomas and Talbot in Middleburg, Virginia. She is a Member of the Greater Piedmont Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS). She currently serves on the Board of the Community Music School of the Piedmont and is a member of the Middleburg Tennis Club. In the past she has served on the board of the Long Lake Hounds in Minnesota, been a member of the Myopia Hunt Club in Boston and the American Association of University Women.

Mary Ann joined the firm of Thomas & Talbot Real Estate in 1998. Since 2001 she has been one of the top five agents in the Greater Piedmont Association of Realtors which consists of over 740 members. For six years she has been one of the top two agents in the Association.

In 2007, Mary Ann sold the highest priced property ever listed in “Hunt Country”, historic Llangollen, for $22 Million dollars.

She is now joined by her sons, James E. McGowan, a graduate of Villanova University and formerly a Vice President of Trammell Crow and Brian T. McGowan, a graduate of George Mason University and formerly a marketing representative for Vista RMS. She resides with her husband on their Irish Mist Farm in Bluemont, where her family enjoys their favourite sport of polo.

The McGowans have sales from $300,000 to Multi-million dollar properties.
