In 1993 the martial arts world changed forever when Royce Gracie proved that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was one of the most effective martial arts in the world. 2 years later, already a black belt in Kenpo Karate, Kristopher McLeod began his journey in the art.
There are less than 30 legit black belts in BJJ in the state of Ohio. Kristopher McLeod is one of them. Promoted to his black belt by Professor Jamel McCurry and Master Carlos Machado, McLeod is one of the "old school" of Ohio practitioners.
It is difficult to find good instruction in BJJ at a fair price. There are many schools who claim to have BJJ skills or rank, and quite frankly, they do not. DO NOT be fooled by imitations.
