Multicultural Critical Reflective Practice (MCRP) is an on-going process used educators to challenge the cultural beliefs, values, and assumptions that color their interactions with diverse groups. In doing so, we help educators understand how their cultural assumptions and values influence their color their interactions with artworks and learners in order to explore the relationship between individual experiences and broader cultural considerations. MCRP practitioners take four approaches to enhancing their teaching:
Self-reflection
Peer-to-Peer Reflection
Reflection in Teaching
Reflection on Teaching
