Meade Hill Vineyard and Winery

We are family owned and operated and located in Smartsville, CA (which is part of the sierra foothills wine region of California). Though, we are not officially on any wine map yet,...that should be changing soon.

The vineyard (and soon to be tasting room) is located on Meade Hill. The northern half of Meade Hill was washed away by hydraulic mining in the 1800's. Thanks to the Sawyer decision of 1884 half of the hill still stands. Is the hill still laden with gold? Only God knows!..... but we think the value is still in the ground:
