Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley

Our goals are to improve the health and well-being of our clients and help them remain in their homes and maintain their independence.

We’re an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, governed by a fifteen member volunteer Board of Directors that was founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1985 as Meals on Wheels of Salinas. We’ve been delivering meals in Salinas since 1973 and in the rural areas of the Salinas Valley since 1994. Our name changed in 1998 to reflect our expanded service area.

We believe that good nutrition and independent living go hand in hand, and with the help of our caring volunteers and generous donors we make both possible everyday for those who are homebound.
