MeCasa Muzik

Mecasa Muzik is a collaborative studio for artists to grow with their peers and amongst their peers for the most basic and organic reason known “the love affair we all have with Muzik” The studio takes a different approach to the whole club versus artist relationship, and we have tried to create a venue that is special, private and belongs to us the ARTIST. At Mecasa the focus is solely on the music, not the monetary gain of anyone accept each other to collaboratively grow and achieve greatness much faster as a collective unit!

The inspiration to create this studio started with the decline of the Miami music industry, it seemed all the worst artists were playing everywhere, and the real music was forced to hide in the shadows of a small apartment, small studio, warehouse or any type of place where real music was demanded! What was known as quality techno or any underground genre to be precise was at risk of being lost and the political paralysis the industry was enduring for a while, seemed helpless.

In response to personal obstacles as a female underground dj and producer Lindsey Bell the owner, created a space that is the opposite of all those broken night clubs with tired sounds and same handful of artists that were dominating them due to popularity / power / prejudice. The premise at Mecasa is a reminder of how and why you started this journey “ the music” and if you became lost along the way to remind you that in a place (with way less sound ) you began the path that has led you to the success you have today. So what better than to celebrate that growth and triumph with a room full of industry selected peers to network and grow with as well as learn from. Seeing the vision grow into a very special reality has been surreal , the alliance local residents from all the different venues in the city have grown to accept and grow from each other has united us as artists in the city.

The result less haters trying to control music’s outcome (which it cant be controlled this is fact ) artist minds opening and together no longer allowing greedy club owners and promoters to force us to sell out our friends to secure a step up the ladder that led nowhere. As the music was the only thing that was left behind! We are currently striving to achieve this goal of collaborative greatness with every event, and if you have been to our place or simply heard about it I am sure you will soon know its a magical place where anything can and will happen. The one thing u can be assured is that the MUSIC is gonna be on point at all times!!!

We pay no artist to play at Mecasa, the muzik is a contribution to the mission and goal of the space.
We have a Turbo Sound / Function One sound system that is top in the city, and have had a very respectable line up in the past from Art Department, Capriti, Thug Fucker, Desert Heart, Serge Devant, Oscar L, Raffa Barrios, David tort to name just a few there have been many more and a few secrets you just had to be lucky to be there to even know it occurred!!
