First graduating class of Medfield High was a class of 8 in 1908. The original building was in what is now called Wheelock School, a public elementary school for grades 2-3. In 1957, the town accepted a gift of land from Amos Clark Kingsbury,( <-- NOT POSSIBLE. AMOS CLARK KINSBURY DIED DEC 1955 ) a Medfield native and public school alum. This land was used to build a new high school, which was named Amos Clark Kingsbury High School.
