The Medina Centre for Dance Art was started in 2002 on the coattails of a life-long dream to bring professional dance to a neighborhood studio. Kelly Parks, owner and director of MCDA , is celebrating 31 years of teaching dance. The goal of the MCDA is to enrich the lives of children and adults through dance. Strict disciplines for each dance form are followed and taught in a loving and fun environment. It is our hope that a strong dance education will improve all aspects of a person’s life.
We intend to encourage self esteem, self confidence, coordination, flexibility as well as general physical fitness. Dance is an art form that has been loved and appreciated for hundreds of years. We will continue this love and appreciation in all we do.
