Participants agree to a plan for success involving goals for employment, academic, physical and social goals as well as volunteer service in the community.
Our services focus on helping adults build life skills needed to find and then keep a job. For example:
• Gain on-the-job experience to “try out” a job skill
• Prepare a budget you can keep
• Choose healthy meals and fix your own
• Make simple repairs to your clothes/furniture
• Learn the keys to reliabile transportation
• Discover the fun of “couponing”
• Attend Bible study classes
We provide participants with volunteer opportunities to promote a strong work ethic and sense of public service in participants, to enhance participants' personal development and educational/employment prospects, and to provide long-term benefits to the public. The program also provides enrichment services, such as academic and life skills training, job search help, and references to external mental health and educational services.
