Mel Booker Music

The best place in the Antelope Valley to learn an instrument and learn how to perform on that instrument as well. Learn Drums, Bass, Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Woodwind, Brass, and Voice.

Mel Booker Music was born out of a passion for spreading the love of music to the Antelope Valley community.

In 1993 Mel began teaching for a local music store. As his client list grew, teaching methods were honed, and refined to instill a life-long love of music into his students.

Today, Mel Booker Music is home to over 200 students, and a dozen or so instructors who absolutely love music. As our teachers are actually performers as well, students here have access to first hand training on playing in a band on stage.

We provide a fun, safe learning environment with all of our instructors providing state background checks. No need to worry about traveling to someone’s home: not safe.

It’s never too late to start-we serve adults and kids alike. Special needs are always welcomed, so there is no time like “now” to get started.
