Company Overview
Memorial Health System, with campus locations in Marietta and Belpre and physician practices throughout the Mid-Ohio valley, is a not-for-profit health system that strives to provide local access to health care for you and your family. The system encompasses two hospitals, a home care agency, an occupational health program and a foundation.

-Marietta Memorial Hospital is a community hospital where service excellence and clinical quality create the region’s best experience for patients and their families, physicians, the community and our employees.

-Selby General Hospital is a critical access and advanced orthopedics hospital located in Marietta, Ohio. The medical staff, nurses and other health care professionals all function as a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care for all patients.

-Physicians Care Express is an urgent care facility to be used in those situations when “Life Happens”. High fevers and earaches at night, headaches after work, sore throats and sprained ankles on the weekend. It’s why we’re here when your doctor can’t be, at around the same price. Memorial Health System has two Physicians Care Express locations, one in Belpre at 807 Farson Street and one in Marietta at 800 Pike Street.

Description
Marietta Memorial Hospital Corp. was formed in 1921 by a group of local citizens who saw a need for a large, centralized health care center in the community. The undertaking would be a memorial to Washington County residents who lost their lives in World War I, these pioneers decided. A massive community fundraising and organizational campaign came to fruition when, on July 9, 1929, the hospital admitted its first patient.

Marietta Memorial has responded through the years to the changing needs of the region, adding to its structure and services to meet the health care expectations of its patients. Today, the hospital and its affiliates offer a lifetime of care.

In Memorial Health System, some amazing things happen each and every day. Not only are we touching hundreds of lives by the dedication, expertise and compassion of our people and their abiding commitment to quality patient care, but we enhance quality of life in other ways, too. As a leading employer in the area, Memorial Health System is committed to investing not only in the quality of health, but also quality of life in the communities where we live and work. We have donated millions in charity care to those in need every year and continue to invest in a way that supports the lives of our friends, neighbors and our own families.
