I am a life coach, helping next generation Christian leaders like you clarify and pursue your unique, God-given calling, passion & vision—becoming all that God meant you to be. Only leaders like that will effectively transform their generation; reaching the lost, creating authentic missional communities, and multiplying disciples, leaders and churches.

Using skilled questions in conversation, I facilitate your process of bringing your goals and plans into reality.

Here is my working definition of Christian coaching. Further down are some other definitions from seasoned coaches.

Christian coaching is a relational process in which your unique design and kingdom contribution, and your plans to see that become reality, are drawn out in conversation. That conversation uses skilled questions, active listening, setting action steps and listening to God.

I use the term "mentor-coaching" to convey only the fact that where I may have expertise in an area that parallels your kingdom contribution, I am not unwilling to share it if... 1) I am asked directly, and 2) if their is a commitment to let my experience be no more than one perspective among many. You and the Holy Spirit are the experts on your life.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

The ICF further clarifies that coaches are trained to listen, to observe, and to customize their approach to individual client needs. “They [coaches] seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach’s job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has (emphasis added).”
