Merrimac Council On Aging Goals
1.To provide a welcoming environment for seniors and their families in our community and beyond.
2.To provide activities and programs that are fun, stimulating and exciting that meet the Personal Wellness model: Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, Spiritual, and Physical.
3.To provide information, education, and resources or referrals to assist seniors and their families.
4.To provide services such as transportation, meals, food pantry, outreach, health clinics, and counseling.
5.To provide the place and opportunity for seniors to meet with legislators, town officials, department heads, Police and Fire Chiefs, Directors or representatives to the Housing Authority, Essex County Sheriff’s Department, and Atty. General’s office, etc.
