As a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. James R. Lucente manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, tooth, jaw, and facial regions. Dr. Lucente holds both Medical (MD) and Dental (DDS) degrees. This extensive education and experience allows him to practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His unique expertise ranges from dental implant placement and wisdom tooth removal, to jaw alignment procedures and the management of maxillofacial pathology and trauma. He is also skilled in techniques designed to restore lost or deficient bone structure prior to dental implant placement, with minimal surgical intervention, and optimal patient comfort. Dr. Lucente is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and attends frequent continuing education training in order to stay informed of the latest technological and treatment advances in their specialty.
