Our Mission and services embodies "WHOSOEVER" and promotes inclusivity as we reach out to address the needs of those grappling with substance abuse/use, engaging in high risk behaviors, experiencing or coping with trauma and/or living with HIV/AIDS since 1994.

Clinic:

The First Response Center operates a primary Care Clinic to serve economically disadvantaged persons living with and at high risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. Services are particularly designed for individuals who abuse substances and/or have mental health issues that complicate adherence to medication regimens.

The First Response Clinic utilizes:

Clinical outreach, Direct Observational Therapy, in home clinical/psycho-social observation, medical care management, adherence counseling, Lost-to-care outreach, testing services, as well as Linkage to all First Response Center supportive services.

Wellness Center

The Wellness Center provides holistic, comprehensive and compassionate approaches to psycho-social support throughout the service continuum, which consist of:

Pastoral counseling, case management, prevention education, A&D coordination and linkage, recovery support and relapse prevention, transportation, nutrition education, emergency financial assistance, harm reduction, and HIV?AIDS testing, counseling and referral.

MICTAN

Metropolitan Interdenominational Church Technical Assistance Network (MICTAN) is a clergy-led faith initiative established to enhance the capacity of faith and local communities across the nation in responding to HIV/AIDS with special emphasis on African Americans.

Project U.N.O.

U.N.O. (yoU New Outstanding) is an empowerment project for the African American MSM (Men who have Sex with Men) community in the Nashville area. Our purpose is to provide a safe place for this community through: One-on-one encounters with Life Coaches, informative groups, social activities, and linkage to other community resources. Our mission is to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and to provide care and support services for those Infected and Affected through outreach, education, and advocacy.
