MGCCC Estuarine Education Center

The Estuarine Education Center (EEC) is a 40 acre facility located on the Jackson County Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. In addition to the educational emphasis in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Environmental Studies for the College’s students, the EEC offers exciting opportunities for the public to kayak, canoe, take out stand up paddle boards, go climbing on the indoor rock wall, power through the disc golf course, challenge themselves on the Ropes Challenge Course, get educated in the greenhouse, and enjoy 1.5 miles of nature trails through the woods along Mary Walker Bayou. We also offer leadership and development opportunities for many different groups, as well as K-12 outreach initiatives.
