Miami Northwestern Senior High -Public Service and Law Academy

Miami Northwestern Senior High School’s Public Service and Law Academy (MNW-PSA) prepares academy participants for successful academic and educational advancement in the fields of Law, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science and/or related career placements upon graduation. The MNW-PSA will serve as a catalyst to promote integration and increased interaction among students with differentiated educational levels and social skills, without regard to color, race or ethnicity. Furthermore, our goal is to reduce minority isolation by creating an experientially-based, student centered career academy. In doing so, our academy will attract a student population otherwise underrepresented at Miami Northwestern Senior High School. Out intent is to place students on a Road-2-Success beginning in the 9th grade which will enable them to receive a Vocational Certification in addition to their High School Diploma upon graduation.Our students will not only be eligible to attend college, but also r qualify for entry level positions in Law, Law Enforcement and Public Service.
