Michael Crosa - Speaker

Michael developed Tourette Syndrome from unknown circumstances in 2007. Michael uses his experiences to educate, advocate, and motivate.

Michael has spoken about his experiences to a number of organizations and universities, including the UNC Chapel Hill Psychology Department, Quillen College of Medicine, the Western Carolina University Recreational Therapy Association, and the Texas A&M Clinical Psychology PhD program. He has been involved with groups such as Camp Twitch and Shout and The Brad Cohen Tourette Foundation.

In addition to Tourette Syndrome related work, he has been involved with the creation of the Asheville Forest School and played Jonas Fogg in the 2016 production of Sweeney Todd by Asheville Community Theater. He enjoys spending time outdoors and doing various arts and crafts related hobbies at his home in Asheville, NC.
