As long as I can remember I have loved photography. It started with me taking a 4-H class when I was a kid and showing what I photographed at county fairs. As I got older I took classes here and there, and when I had my children I always had my camera ready. I realized I could make a living, at home, doing what I loved. I recieved my Photography Certificate from Thomson Education Direct. Since then, I have converted one of the rooms in my home into my studio and started my business.
Because my studio is in my home. I do ask that you call and make and appointment before you come by. I take session appointments on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and on the weekends. I am booking a week in advance.
I also prefer to shoot candids but will shoot traditional poses also. If you would like to bring any props you may do so. I am also open to any suggestions on poses you might have.
This year I also became apart of the NILMDTS organization. "The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of nearly 3,000 volunteer professional photographers in the United States and eight International countries. At a family's request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to your hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD that can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby."
