Upon discovering that microgreens have 4-40 times the nutritional value and anti-cancer components of their mature counterparts, Shawn and Karen King wondered why they couldn't find any microgreens at their local market. This was the start of their family owned business, Microgreen King. Growing microgreens hydroponically, in the Yadkin Valley, Microgreen King has a small carbon footprint and uses only Non-GMO seeds, no chemical or pesticides. A seed, water and light is all that is used to grow our microgreens, full of nutrition and packed full of flavor!
