Community Involvement:

Microsoft has a passion for helping the community in which we live and work and we support this passion in a variety of ways. From our annual Giving Campaign to matching employee’s gifts of time and money, our employees aim to make a difference in their communities every day. Giving is ingrained in our culture and our employees will tell you, it’s one of the most rewarding—not to mention fun—aspects of our jobs.

Microsoft and its employees contribute to the community in which they live by bringing the benefits of information technology to people and organizations throughout the community. The emphasis is on partnerships and activities that provide technology solutions that empower youth through education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, as well as signature technology events, employee volunteering and gift matching for nonprofits.

Our core areas of focus are Education, Citizenship/Outreach and Economic Development and in addition to their day-to-day jobs, our employees lead various project teams under these priority areas, striving to make a measurable impact in the community.
