Mid Bay Shores Recreation Area

Mid Bay Shores Recreation Area, formally known as Lake Pippen, is for active duty military, National Guard, Reservists, Retired, 100% DAV, and DoD Civilians to rent year round. Half of the resort is an RV Park and the other half offers 25 2 bedroom/1 bath cabins for rent. Each military member can rent up to 2 cabins at one time. Each cabin sleeps 7 people. Prices vary depending on rank but range from $40-$90 per night/per cabin during peak season (April-September). The off season offers discounted rates. Mid Bay Shores is located on Choctawhatchee Bay in Niceville, Florida, minutes from Destin, Florida. Reservations can be made by calling Outdoor Recreation on Maxwell AFB at (334) 953-3509. Active duty military can make reservations 6 months in advance while all others can make reservations 4 months in advance. Full payment is due at the time of reservation.
