We believe that everyone has an inner athlete. This athlete is specific to YOU, the individual. With appropriate and consistent training in functional strength, overall physical conditioning, a solid nutrition plan and a balanced lifestyle, each and every MFSD member will begin to realize their true individual athletic potential.

Whether an individual comes to us with a weight oriented goal, a strength oriented goal or a safety oriented goal, we offer a hybrid of group classes that will help one meet their goal or goals.

We believe that nutrition is the CORE to overall wellness and athleticism.

We use a variety of training implements that mimic or directly tie into our daily activity needs and help keep us functionally strong - helping us to be a better version of self, a better athlete in our discipline and to keep at bay disease related and age related deterioration of the body that somehow manages to put a halt to once simple tasks such as picking up a set of dropped keys or carry multiple bags of groceries.

We believe in PROGRESSION, GOOD FORM and MODIFICATION. People have injuries (past and present), disease (past and present), limitations (past and present). We recognize this and coach accordingly.

We push heavy stuff; pull heavy stuff; lift heavy stuff; drag heavy stuff; climb; jump; punch; swing; clean; press; squat; lunge; flip; sprint; hold; crawl.

We like kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, chin up bars, tires, ropes, jump ropes, agility cones and ladders, bags, mitts, balls, pipes, and most of all, body weight. Our current equipment offerings will grow with our athlete's skill set.

CLASSES: All classes can be capped based upon facility space availability in order to meet occupancy standards. Classes will be on a first come, first served basis.

We also have some open gym time post class for a self-paced or light competitive WOD. Times for open gym are limited to certain class days.
