Muscongus Bay Wildlife Tour - $50 Kids $40 3 Hours

This is a great trip for anyone who wants to spend a few hours kayaking among beautiful islands and looking for wildlife. The tour will visit scenic vistas while taking advantage of wildlife sightings which could include seals, eagles, porpoises, and more.

Explorer Tour - $60 Kids $40 4 Hours

Our most popular tour! The explorer tour is a bit more adventurous than the Wildlife Tour. We will be paddling out to explore the islands of Muscongus Bay in search of seals, sea birds and fun. This trip will allow time for an island stop, a swim and a provided snack.

Day On The Bay - $100 8 Hours

Spend a day exploring the beautiful water and many islands of Muscongus Bay. See osprey, eagles and seals basking in the sun. Relax on an island in the middle of the bay for a tasty lunch provided by Midcoast Kayak.

Sunset Tour - $40 Kids $25 2.5 Hours

Relax into the sights and sounds of the bay as day sets into night. This is an amazing time to be out on the water.

Full Moon Tour - $50 3 Hours

Paddle around Muscongus Bay and witness the rising full moon in the East and setting sun in the West. This is an exceptionally amazing tour. Call the store for scheduled dates.

Damariscotta River Tour - $55 Kids $35 4 Hours

Enjoy a natural history tour of this unique ecosystem, the only protected ecosystem of its kind in Maine. Enjoy a relaxing rest stop and a snack provided by your guide. This tour is offered by request.

Adventure Tour - $75 6 Hours

Looking to do something new this year? Enjoy a trip to Damariscove Island, the Muscle Ridge Islands, or the Friendship Island chain. This tour requires a minimum group of four.

Instruction/Lessons:

Recreational Kayaking - $45 2 Hours

This basic course is for the beginner kayaker. We will practice stepping in and out of the kayak. On the water we will practice forward paddling, turning and stopping. We will then use these skills to explore Biscay and Pemaquid Ponds. Instructors will demonstrate a wet exit scenario as well as self and assisted rescues.

Sea Kayak Touring - $60 3 Hours

The touring class is for beginners and those that would like more practice feeling confident on the water. We will discuss weather and tides, route/trip planning, and safety gear. Plenty of time will be spent learning the forward, reverse and sweep strokes which we will practice while exploring. Emphasis will then be places on self and assisted rescues, one of the most important skills for sea kayaking.

Sea Kayak Touring 2 - $75 4 Hours

For experienced paddlers who want to increase their skills on open water. Trip planning and navigation will be discussed before concentrating on the leans, paddle strokes, and rescues necessary for safe island to island crossings. In addition, we will observe and discuss the effect of wind, weather, and tides on our kayak trip.
