Midcrest Arabians

Midcrest has existed as a breeding farm for over 40 years. Founded by Robert and Jeanne Middleton, and their primary interest was in the Straight Egyptian lines. They were very successful with their first Straight mare Maar Ree. She was the granddame of the number one producing Straight Egyptian mare in history, Maar Hala, who was purchased by Dr. Felino Cruz.

Midcrest had interest in The Egyptian Prince, and purchased the imported Stallion “Farazdac” and Shah El Sun. We also produced the very successful MFA Mareekh Amir.

We started with one non-straight mare Krisonna and her daughter Drifronna, who are Aristricat mares now and exist in the background of many of today’s champions.

In 1990 Midcrest decided to add an out cross Stallion to a great band of mares. After a long journey we found Echo Magnifficoo and history is evident.

Midcrests goal has always been to have the greatest broodmares in the world. We with other friends have maintained a group of high quality producing mares that regularly provide us with National quality offspring.
